S - Sincerity - Servant
Leaders are sincere and without deceit or hypocrisy. They live their
lives in the light of God's Word. (Philippians 1:10) E -
Excellence - Servant Leaders strive for excellence, not for their
own glory, but for the honor of their Master. (2 Peter 1:5) R -
Responsibility - Servant Leaders sense the great responsibility they
bear to serve the people of God and to be a light to those in
darkness. (Ezra 10:4) V - Virtue and Valor - Servant Leaders,
both men and women of God, rise to the occasion as called by God for
His service. (I Samuel 16:18; Proverbs 31) A - Action - Servant
Leaders are people of action and passion and they put their faith to
work. (Daniel 11:30) N - Noble - Servant Leaders exhibit nobility
by living their lives according to the Word of God and encouraging
others to do so as well. (Isaiah 32:8; Acts 17:11) T - Truth -
Servant Leaders uphold a Biblical worldview and base their decisions
and actions upon truth as found in the Word of God. (John 17:17; 3
John 1:3-4)
L - Love -
Servant Leaders are characterized by their love for God and their
love for one another. (John 13:34-35; John 15:12; Galatians

5:9-11) A - Attitude - Servant Leaders display a Christ-like
attitude and disposition as their frame of mind is focused on the
