Spalding Area Christian Homeschoolers
(SACH) is a Christian & Conservative homeschool
support group, offering encouragement, support and
serving more than 100 home educating
families. We are dedicated to observing the Biblical
commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9: Proverbs 22:6, and Ephesians 6:4.
SACH is a very active
and established organization that places an emphasis on offering
many field trips, social events, and extracurricular activities that
provide wonderful opportunities for children of all ages to
increase their knowledge, and enjoy social interaction. We are
a close-knit group in which children can grow up together, parents
can find fellowship, and families can grow in Christ as we encourage
one another in our homeschool journey. Our families consist of both
new and experienced homeschoolers. SACH is the largest homeschool
group based in Griffin-Spalding County, but we also serve the
surrounding counties of: Fayette, Henry, Pike, Lamar, Butts, Coweta,
Monroe, and Upson.

Deceived!
Having your student enrolled in an "accredited
program" is not required for excellent and successful homeschooling
in Georgia, nor is it required for acceptance to a Georgia state
college or university.
SACH Mission
Statement: 1. To represent the
homeschool community in a manner that honors Jesus Christ. 2. To
provide SACH Members with social interaction through family social
events, educational field trips, and group activities for our
children. 3. Providing encouragement and support to Christian
homeschooling families within Spalding County and the surrounding
area. 4. To provide an atmosphere for exchange of teaching
techniques and curriculum information. 5. To keep the group
informed of any pertinent homeschool current events such as
seminars, conferences, and legal issues. 6. To protect the future
freedoms of home education in Georgia and in our nation, by
promoting public awareness of home education by interacting with
elected representatives, public officials, and the general public.
